I have not performed a search of all 50 states but I believe I'm on safe ground in stating that while you are stationed in the active military at a facility other than one in your home state, your license remains valid UNTIL you return to your home state for ANY reason. At that time, and at your FIRST OPPORTUNITY, you must renew it.
By federal law, a Military issued drivers license is 'supposed' to be accepted by the states when that active duty person is stationed there. That does not mean that Florida will do it, but they are supposed to.
So long as your suspension is active in Illinois, none.
Normally, yes. Some states do allow exceptions, such as for active duty military personnel.

Yes, it is. Except, if you move to live in different state, then you must apply for, and receive, one from your new state of residence (except for members of the military on active duty).
what states require no photo i.d. on drivers' license?
Short answer, none.
None. Does not work that way.
