Not sure of the V6 but, on a 2.7L A/T, the fuel filter is located underneath exhaust manifold (two pieces), remove all hoses, throttle body, and the exhaust manifold, inspect/clean the injectors since your in there. Super Mario sendz.

The air filer on a Toyota Tacoma is located in the engine compartment of the vehicle. Find all the bolts holding the air box down and loosen them. Remove the plastic housing to reveal the air filter. Replace the air filter.
follow the intake manifold back to your induction filter, pull out/off the old one then replace with the new one.
