The Peace Process that is ongoing, and had one of its major aspects being the Good Friday Agreement, signed on the 10th of April 1998. There is now a Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive that have power sharing between the two major communities in Northern Ireland. There are still problems, but things are better than in the past.
