The first strategic decision made was the Germany first option. US troops and industrial might would be directed to the European theatre of operations with the Pacific theatre a lower priority.
one strategy can be known as the Iron fist and hammer. This strategy's first step would be that iron hammer. This was when the Russian used their artillery to mercilessly pound their target with missiles for hours on end. The second step was when the Russians sent in their main attack force, the iron fist. Usually the Russian's would not stop their rocket strike on the city even when their men rushed into it. The rockets strikes would usually continue until the artillery had exhausted their rocket supplies. This was the most common strategy used by the Russians during World War2.
Another strategy was the scorched Earth strategy. Scorched Earth was used when the Russian's wre forced to retreat, they would burn everything to the ground to keep the Germans from gathering anything of use.

The Germans used Blitzkrieg, and WWII say the first widespread use of Guerrilla warefare.
Maxim introduced his machineguns in about 1885. The Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905 was the first mass use of machineguns in warfare (with the Russians using most of them).
Most of the military and militia strategies we use today are based on the fighting strategies they use back then.
The Russians were on the Allies team, but at the end they weren't given enough credit for their work. They took a sacrifice by having some of their men not use guns which caused many deaths. The USSR (Russians) did the best they could with what they had and the other countries in the Allies didn't give them much credit for helping win the war.
They had the President, Mr. Lincoln, on their side.
Naval War or Naval Warfare is the use of naval forces (ships, aircraft, SEALS, amphibious craft) to conduct offensive and defensive strategies by use of seapower
The Germans primarily used the Panzer, Panther, and the Tiger 1 and 2 later in the war. The Russians used the T-34 and the JST-34, and the Americans used the Sherman tank, over 44,000 were produced in the war time period (1941-1945)
