This is a very interesting question, its really based on opinion. I'll try my best to give you my opinion. Many ppl end up on the streets because they do not put out effort to get a job or a good education. Ppl on the streets could try to get their lives together. Many ppl also end up on the streets because they do drugs and have lost everything to support their addiction and need for drugs. Drugs wind up leaving soooo many ppl on the streets because they lose all their money paying for the drugs! They may be lazy, or they may not be lazy. If they are looking for better ways to improve their life and get off the streets then they are putting forth good effort and are not lazy. Once again it depends strongly on how you look at it. Many ppl also don't have homes because of the economy being so terrible. So there you have it:)
