What stronger OxyContin or oxycodone?

Oxycontin and Oxycodone are the same thing. Oxycontin is made from Oxycodone. Oxycontin is time released so it continuously release the medicine and oxycodone is not time released. It depends on how much of each you take. Say if you take a 40 MG Oxycontin pill and and 4 Oxycodone 10/325, you feel the effects of the 4 oxycodone pills because the Oxycontin time released but they are the same thing. Whichever one you take more MG of will be stronger.

It depends on which list you read. Some believe the two to be equal in potency. Others believe oxycodone to be about 50% stronger than morphine when taken orally. I tend to go with the 50% stronger group as I've used both and find oxycodone to be stronger. The same holds true for whether the formulation is short acting or extended release.

If used IV they are about equal in potency. IV is always short acting.

BY IV morphine is stronger but when taken orally the bioavailability of morphine is only about 35% where oxycodone is between 60 and 85%. So oxycodone is stronger in pill form but morphine is stronger IV'ed

That would depend entirely on the dose prescribed. For example, 10mg of oxycodone would be stronger than 1mg of morphine. However, there are other factors to consider, such as route of administration, which will effect how quickly the pain relief lasts for/
