It's because pterophytes are vascular plants that contains vascular tissues which support growth. Bryophytes are nonvascular plants, they don't have vascular tissues that's why it doesn't grow too large.

Structural, because structural adaptation is adjustments to internal or external physical structures (texture color etc.). Camouflage is any coloring shape or pattern that allows an organism to blend in.
A structural adaptation is a physical trait that allows an organism to survive or reproduce like fur to keep warm or tusks to keep predators away. A swan has wings. Wings are a physical trait that allow swans to escape from predators, thus allowing them to survive.
Adaptation or adaptive value is any genetically controlled structural, physiological, or behavioral characteristic. This helps an organism survive and reproduce under a given set of environmental conditions.
A structural adaptation of the Sea Turtle are their forelimbs and neck, the forelimbs are modified into long, paddle-like flippers for swimming, it allows the Green Turtle to maintain its speed whilst travelling in the ocean.
Adaptation does not allow for natural selection: natural selection causes adaptation.
Legs...?
I believe it is adaptation.
It is how the animal is built so that it can have a higher chance or survival in the wild. Structural adaptations allows the animal to protect itself from predators mainly by camouflaging(zebras, tigers), having a protective outer covering(turtle, porcupine) etc.
An inherited characteristic (DNA) that allows an organism to survive and reproduce in a particular environment .There are various adaptation methods. You can go to sites like the following to learn more.1.teacher.scholastic.com/activities/explorations/adaptation2.www.ecokids.ca/pub/eco_info/topics/.../adaptations/index.cfm3.www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/.../adaptation.htm4.library.thinkquest.org/J001644F/
