Hi, I'm currently finishing my a-levels and have been offered a conditional place on a primary teaching course. You don't have to have specific subjects to become a primary school teacher but if you hope to specialise in a certain field in secondary education e.g. you want to become a maths teacher you would have to have maths at a-level.

If you want to be a primary school teacher I would recommend you do health and social care, and at least one subject from the primary education national curriculum.
