Science: Physics

Social Studies: American history

Reading: Varies from school to school, often has something to do with American history

Grammar/English: You will probably focus more on writing than grammar in eighth grade. What grammar that you do will probably be diagramming sentences and the like.

The subjects needed to learn in school are Math,Science,and Civics or History because they are the subjects that means everywhere.Math teach us the numbers of everywhere.Science teach us nature or anything.Civics or History teach us about our country or your country.So improve your skills by reading or study those subjects.

Every school district may have their own requirements for graduation, but here is a list of classes that are usually taken during the four years of High School.

9th Grade - Freshmen Level
  • English I (English 9)
  • Algebra 1 or Geometry (If Algebra 1 was completed in 8th grade)
  • Physical Science
  • World History or U.S. History
  • Physical Education
  • Foreign Language I or II (or Foreign Language 9) (Depending on if your 8th grade foreign language was an honors course)
  • Electives
10th Grade - Sophomore Level
  • English II (English 10)
  • Geometry or Algebra 2 (If Geometry was completed in 9th grade)
  • Biology or Anatomy
  • World History or U.S. History
  • Physical Education
  • Health/Sexual Education
  • Foreign Language II or III
  • Electives
11th Grade - Junior Level
  • English III (English 11) - American Literature
  • Algebra II or Trigonometry or Pre-Calculus (Depending on tests and grades from prior math classes)
  • Anatomy or Chemistry or Physics (Depending on tests and grades from prior science classes)
  • U.S. Government, European History, Economics, Geography. (Depending on grades and the school)

12th Grade - Senior Level

This is only approximate, as mentioned before, each school district or board of education sets it's requirements. Most require a minimum of 4 years English and Math. 3 years History and Science. 2 years of Fine Arts or Foreign Languages, 1/2 year of physical education.
