Well my social studies teacher told my this:
The substance Embalmers use to stuff the mummy's nose was beeswax. No kidding! Actual beeswax. If you want to know why they did it here's the answer:
The did it so the liquids from the head (from taking out the brain) wouldn't come out and make the body rot.
That's the answer!
Hopefully it helped you!

so that they can use it in the afterlife. :)
They didn't stuff their mummies, they dried them out with salts and wrapped them in papyrus.
The Egyptians believed that you could take it with you, and use it in the next world.
Scientists use the concept of density to determine how much stuff (mass) is contained within a specified volume of a substance. Density is calculated by dividing the mass of a substance by its volume, so the amount of stuff in a specified volume depends on the density of the substance.

The nostrils are the openings in your nose through which you breathe. You can use the word "nostrils" in a sentence like: "His nostrils flared in anger" or "She could smell the delicious aroma through her nostrils."
Ancient Egyptians moved stuff by logging logs tied them with reeds and then pushed out into the nile and then floated down the river!
yes the egyptians did use clay tablets to record trade and to write laws and stuff.
They kept there stuff in there tomb to use in the afterlife. Sometimes if they didn't have certain stuff next to them because it has been moved they can get in trouble in the afterlife.
Egyptians used Natron Salt to mummify stuff
