6H2O+6CO2=C6H12O6=6O2

6H2O= water

6CO2=carbon dioxide

C6H12O6+glucose

so...water combined with carbon dioxide creates glucose which gives the palnt energy. energy is also captured by chlorophyll (pigment that makes plant green found in cells) ans is another source of energ. chlorophyll breaks down water into hydrogen and oxcygen atoms.

so basically the chemical equation for photosynthesis is

carbon dioxide + water + light = sugar and oxygen.

the bold part would represent the reactants and the regular part would be the products. so the bold parts, carbon dioxide, water, and light, would be the reactants.
