oxygen is the byproduct of photosynthesis because from water (H2O), sunlight and carbon dioxide (CO2) , they release oxygen to make glucose.
Photosynthesis creates oxygen as a byproduct which we humans then inhale, and exhale carbon dioxide which is what the plants "inhale."
c6h12o6 is the equation for photosynthesis
This chemical equation, opposite to photosynthesis is:C6H12O6 + 6O2 = 6CO2 + 6H2O
it is mentioned. cloroplasts is the one that's not mentioned in the chemical equeation for photosynthesis
Some chemical equations don't have byproducts. The most obvious one is hydrogen and oxygen. React them and all you get is water. In other equations, there are definitely byproducts...if you were crazy enough to react sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid (do this in a fume hood, please) you will get sodium chloride and water. The water would be the byproduct.
Chemical equation
The equation for balanced photosynthesis is: 6CO2 + 6H2O ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2
The chemical products are O2 and C6H12O6
6H2O + 6CO2 + energy = C6H12O6 + 6O2
a substance that is classified as salt
products
carbon dioxide + water ----- glucose + oxygen + energry
