Hi there!
Im dealing with a severely injured muscle myself, and the most important aspect of healing would be to gain enough rest and limit excessive usage of the affected muscle. With that said, there are a few Vitamins and Supplements that could aid in the healing process:
1.) General Multivitamin, this is often overlooked but any vitamin or mineral deficiency could result in delayed healing of the muscle. While a multivitamin may not speed up healing, it will act as an "insurance policy" in assuring that you have the adequate vitamins and minerals that your body needs. I would highly recommend Optimen or Optiwomen (respectively) by Optimum Nutrition.
2.) Vitamin C, the recommended daily value for vitamin C is often only enough to prevent a nutritional deficiency called Scurvy. Linus Pauling has done numerous studies on Vitamins C's anticancer and healing abilities. Its role in boosting immune and repair functions in the body can help with various muscle injuries. 10 grams per day should be a starting dose, divided throughout the day. No negative side effects have been reported up to as much as 60 grams.
3.) Magnesium and Zinc, both of these minerals are found in relatively high levels within muscle tissue. Muscle injury or strenuous activity depletes levels.
A proprietary blend of magnesium and zinc can be taken as ZMA in the evening hours.
4.) L-glutamine, L-taurine : Researchers are still debating which of these amino acids makes up the bulk of muscle tissue, but both aminos are found in very high quantities. L-glutamin is proven to reduce muscle soreness, and L-taurine helps in overall muscle function. High dosages of L-taurine may be linked to seizures but this is yet to be confirmed.
5.) L-arginine, this amino acid breaks down into Nitric Oxide in the body, which acts to enlarge veins and blood vessels in the body. Due to the enlargement, more nutrients can be delivered to injured muscles to increase healing.
6.) Fish Oil, omega 3 fatty acids such as EPA and DHA are crucial for various roles within the body and are known for having an anti-inflammatory effect which will help reduce the pain and swelling of an injured muscle, and reduce inflammation which may block nutrients from being properly delivered to the muscle.
7.) Glucosamin/Chondroitin/MSM blend - crucial for joint health, may help injured muscle if there is damage to the surrounding joint or ligament.
8.) Aloe vera juice - antioxidant/anti inflammatory
You may also consider eating a high protein diet and using Emu Oil or Arnica Gel

tendons are not bones therefore they cannot break its probably a torn tendon
Sretched or torn
Tendon injury' refers to damage that occurs to a tendon which connects bone to muscle. Sometimes a tendon can be strained or sometimes it can be torn. Rehab can take months depending on the severity.
A partially torn shoulder blade tendon cannot heal itself. This is similar to frayed rope and would need special care so that it can heal.
A strain is a torn or stretched muscle or tendon.
