No, you should put them all in a separate tank.
No because i have had a male betta in the past and it was just him in the bowl and he was always making bubbles... I guess it just depends if your fish wants to mate he will make bubbles Hope this helps :)
If you try to keep a male and female (or females) in the same tank permanently, the outcome is always going to be seriously injured or dead females. You cannot keep males with females. Under very carefully controlled circumstances during breeding the male will not kill the female (he will usually nip at her, but not seriously harm her.) But male and female in same tank = dead female.
betta fish mate when the male starts to make a bubble nest.he does this when the temp is raised to about 27-28c,now you need to separate the female into a private chamber where the male can see in the same tank for a few hours.then release her.if all goes well your beta fish will mate
Unless the female is ready to mate, you should keep a divider between them.
They do mate! As long as you have 3 females with 1 male and you keep the tank well planted and at the right temp!
If it is a male beta (long fins) then he is ready to mate. The bubbles you see are what he will, if mated, put the eggs into. there isn't anything wrong with the water, he's just horny. If it is a female's (short fins) tank, then there is probably a problem with the water.
Comet fish mate differently than mammals. A female drops her eggs into the tank and the male fertilizes them with his sperm. They do not actually engage in sex.
NO female bettas do not fight each other
a male tank has a cannon gun a female tank has a machine gun
If they have just laid eggs, he is chasing her from the nest. Get her out of the tank, or he will kill her! Males are in charge of raising babies, and will not tolerate other fish around, not even the female.
I have a female and a male beta fish,If you put them togethere and the male doent chase the female then they like being togethere. If the male beta fish chases the female beta fish it mines that the male beta fish wants to kill the female by chacing her allover that is what happened to my female beta fish,so i had to go to petco and buy another bowl so they male and the female are not togethere.Ps:Sorry for my grammer it bad lol hope that helped you.
