The body temperature of a pigeon is 41.2 degrees Centigrade/106.2 Fahrenheit average for domestic pigeons in a 22 pigeon sample.
That is a lost or wounded pigeon. If you make a cage with grains in it, the bird will feed in it and you can catch it. The tag will tell you who to call.
Maybe you could get a friend to look after the pigeon and give it it's food. Or you could sell it. You could also take it to a pet shop to look after it.
Most homing pigeons have a band around there leg with a number inscription. If you contact your local pigeon club, more than likely you can trace it's owner. Also, the bird is called a homing pigeon for a reason. Unless injured or sick if released and not kept at your house for too long, it should return to it's owner.
never...they shouldn't even get pigeon toe...thats nasty!!!
Decomposition always depends on temperature.
You should contact a local pigeon-breeding club for sources to obtained pedigreed birds.

NO never feed your baby pigeon raw chicken eggs (or any other egg) at all because i have fed my baby pigeon raw chicken egg at 2months old or so and it started to through out blood out of its mouth just after i have fed it the raw egg. i am trying to make it better because i has lost a lot of blood and have lost weight but it managed to live because it was old enough to handle it.
