You don't need any qualifications to be a singer. The better you are and more albums you sell, the more you will get paid.

Well it depends what type of singer you WANT to be. If your voice is shaky, you may need training to make yourself less nervous. I say yes and no.

lost of vocal exercises and probably going up and down the musical note scale like .....doe, ray, me, far,so, la, Te ,doe ......... and so on . that should get you on your track to becoming a professional singer
