depends what kind of style you play. i play rock and metal so if you play thAT TYPE, THEN HERES WHAT I DID TO GET THE SOUND. first i put a pillow in it to muffle it some then from there you want it sort of loose... if you lisen to a band and hear the bass drum, thers a kind of click in the sound. that's made by the mic cuz the computer just adds it in. i made a home made click sound with the pillow and the bass drum. just keep tightening or loosening it until it sounds good. =)
