Killarney is a town in Ireland, famous for its nearby national park and lakes. Killarney is in county Kerry. County Clare is close by. You can get a ferry between the two counties. County Clare has many attractions, most famously the Cliffs of Moher. It is a coastal county, so it has a nice coastline with many fine beaches. Another famous place is the Burren, which is a large wilderness with many areas of interest particularly having interest to scientists such as botanists and geologists, but it is also popular with tourists. Bunratty Castle is another place popular with tourists in County Clare. So there is a lot more to see in County Clare than in Killarney, but both are good to see. As they are close, you could see both. There are also many other fine places to see in the southwest of Ireland which you could also take in.
