Although enclosure building is not as simple as it may seem, it is by no means impossible. Sealed enclosures are the easiest to build, as the only thing affecting the box tuning is the internal air space. On a ported enclosure, the port diameter, length, and enclosure internal air space all affect box tuning. The best way to determine the best box size for YOUR subwoofers is to consult the data sheets / instructions which came with the sub, look up your subwoofer online, or contact the manufacture directly if unable to find the answer elsewhere.
Another VERY good resource is "The Car Stereo Cookbook", available at many book stores as well as online. Almost everyone in the audio industry has read and will recommend this book.
MOST 12" enclosures will range anywhere from 0.5 cu. ft. to 2.0 cu. ft. Research WILL provide an answer. Look for info on your subs MODEL number, not just the name.
Good luck, and happy box-building!!!
Which is the best sony wireless subwoofer?
Sony makes some great, compact subwoofers designed for hatchbacks or compact cars.
The sony home theatre system is very small in fact five of the speakers are the size of a golf ball. The subwoofer is bigger in size but it doe not take up a whole lot of space.
i would say the 1300watt 12" sony xplod sub i have one in my car and ive had a 600 peak power pushing it and it sounded good for the size and for only one sub. to much power will blow it id stick with the 1300 watt sub.
Sony subwoofers can be bought from a number of retailers and stores online. Some examples include the Sony Store, Walmart, Crutchfield, Amazon, and NewEgg.
There is a dial on the back of the subwoofer to adjust the bass.
Which version of Sony MP3 player with a 2gb storage size is best for you will depend on how you plan to use it. IF size is important to you then the W Series Walkman MP3 player would be best but you will have to pay more.
Most, but not all, resellers offer a warranty. anonymous@oola.com
Yes -- multiple brands can be used concurrently in the same system.
The differences between Sony Vaio laptops and other Sony laptops are in size, performance and features, so one can choose the laptop that will best suit their needs.
They arent bad. They have one of the best sounds you can get for your money, but they arent anything like a kicker or an alpine ************* Correction: For the money Sony isn't worth it: would you rather spend $250 on a subwoofer that will last for 10 years that's not an Xplod OR get a Sony Xplod and have to replace it every six months for $60 each time? Sony spends too much money on making the subwoofer look "cool" and "awesome," whereas companies like Digital Design and Fi don't have a marketing department. The build quality is poor and the materials are mediocre. LuxurySport
The JBL is rated up to 400 Watts RMS, while the Sony is rated up to 380 Watts RMS.
