They are completely unrelated. Don't get confused by the fact that the units look similar.
Work units may be force (N) times distance (m); so a Nm is a work unit.
Torque units may be distance (m) times force (N); so mN is a torque unit.
Look similar, but they describe different things.
Torque is the measurement of turning force. A wrench applies torque to a bolt. A motor or engine provides torque to do work. Horsepower is the measurement of the work done or ability to do work. This is done by taking the speed the engine is operating at (RPM) and what torque it is producing and applying a formula to give a horsepower rating.
One difference between dynamic torque and static torque is the level of difficulty to measure. Static torque is each to measure, while dynamic torque is not. This is because it requires a transfer of an electric or magnetic effect.
no
Max torque and breakdown toarque are the same...,.the point at which a motor will stop/stall.
The driver gear has the input torque, and the driven gear has the output torque.
Momentum is the product of mass and velocity p=mv. Torque is vector energy T=fxd=fdsin(fd), the vector analogy of scalar energy, work W=f.d= -fdcos(fd).
what is difference between work-group and domain
There is no difference. It is (force x distance) or (distance x force). It is usual to express torque and moment of a force in pounds-feet and work done in foot-pounds but it is not mandatory.
Difference between Torque and load
what is the difference between a work order and a purchase order?
More bottom end torque!
Electromagnetic torque and load torque are different.Electromagnetic torque is the torque that is produced inside the machine which makes the machine rotate, while load torque is the torque that is applied externally with brake drum and and spring balance.Electromagnetic torque can be varied by varying the speed of the machine, but load torque is fixed.
