The cell was discovered by Robert Hooke in 1665. He examined (under a coarse, compound microscope) very thin slices of cork and saw a multitude of tiny pores that he remarked looked like the walled compartments a monk would live in. Because of this association, Hooke called them cells, the name they still bear. However, Hooke did not know their real structure or function. Hooke's description of these cells (which were actually non-living cell walls) was published in Micrographia. His cell observations gave no indication of the nucleus and other organelles found in most living cells.

yes that is correct all living things are made up of cells.
Cell theory states that all living things are composed of cells. This theory was coined by Matthias Schleiden, Theodor Schwann, and Rudolph Virchow.
The idea that cells serve as the basis for life is known as the cell theory.

the cell theory
All living organisms are made up of cells.
the cell theory states that- 1.All living things are composed of cells. 2.Cells are the basic unit of structure and the function of living things. 3.All cells are produced from other cells. So, the cell theory says that all living things are made out of cells even what hte dog eeat is made of a dog.
Cell theory states: -All living things are made up of cells. -Cells are the basic unit of structure and function in all living things. -Cells arise from pre-existing cells.
the three main ideas of cell theory is all organisms are made up of one or more cells, all cells come from existing cells, and the cell is the basic unit of all organisms.

The "cell theory" - (which by the way demonstrably a fact).

All living organisms are made up of cells. There is a concept called the cell theory that was discovered by Theodor Schwann and Matthias Schleiden.
Cell Theory
If cell theory states that all living things are made up of cells, then anything that is not alive is not an example. For example, a table is not made of cells.

Cell Theory
According to the cell theory, all living things are made of cells. This means that any living thing has at least one cell. Multicellular organisms include animals and plants.
