since brian was unsure of what the wolf would do to him he was scared and worried that he might be attacked, but then, similarly to the bear situation, the wolf showed no intention to harm him, and instead, brian nodded his head to him in respect. they lived without getting in each others ways, apart yet alongside each other.

In the book "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen, Brian is primarily motivated by the desire to survive after a plane crash leaves him stranded in the wilderness. His determination to figure out a way to stay alive, find food and shelter, and ultimately get rescued drives his actions throughout the story. Additionally, memories of his family and a newfound sense of self-reliance also serve as strong motivators for Brian.

How Brian reacted to the Timber Wolf(s) in the book hatchet was by respecting there/its territory and staying in his own space. Brian also had a type of connection with the Timber Wolf(s) because he thought of them as a friend. I am saying them and putting (s) because if you read the book hatchet there is also a cub that comes along with the Male and or Female Wolf.
