A person should consider the pay, benefits, and location of a position before accepting. They should also consider the physical demands of the job, the types of clientele they may have, and what the company sells before accepting the job. Other factors include the hours they will be working, how far they will have to travel, their uniform, and who they will be working for.

The following factors should be considered when looking for a job:

1. What kind of work are you capable of doing, and what kind do you wish to do? (If the kind of work that you wish to do is not something you are presently capable of doing, can you get training in that line of work?)

2. What job openings exist?

3. Are the job openings in a location that you can get to, and if they are not, are you willing to move in order to be able to get a job?

4. How much money do you need, and how much money is being offered by jobs that you are considering?

5. Does the job offer you the fringe benefits, such as medical insurance, pension plan, paid vacations etc., that you require?

6. Are there any other special requirements that you have to meet in order to obtain the job that you want? If you are moving to a new country to get work, you need a work permit of some kind.

This question is a little mixed. It depends on who is looking for a job. Is it an experienced professional or is it a graduate just out of college.

If an experience professional,he should be looking for a job in the industry and role in which he has the experience. He should choosing companies which are stable and employee caring. Check on the companies background, performance ,age of the company and how the company has been doing for last 3-5 years. Also one should see the market conditions before looking for a job.If he is employed and looking for a job,he should be very careful while choosing the job.Example if he is from the Oil & Gas industry he should see if his target company has projects for at least 2 years so that he is not fired as soon as he joins due to shortage of projects in the company.

If the job-seeker is a graduate ,he should stick to his interest and educations where he desires to make his career.

I can recommend a good <a href="http://www.oilandgasjobvacancy.com">Job Site</a>for your next job.
