Think of it this way...

Your USB drive is hi-speed.

Your port isn't.

So your USB cant use its hi-speed capabilities because the port is not hi-speed.

If your question meant, how will this affect you?

It won't affect you too much. It will simply just transfer data to and from the USB at a normal speed instead of a hi-speed.
