Biochemical waste damages all bodies of water. The solution is to dispose the chemicals properly and don't pour anything down the drain. Throwing plastic and other junk while on picnics, walking past bodies of water, biking etc. damages the water. The water gets dirty and the organisms in the water die and get extinct and the the rest of the food chain well break down, and the whole ecosystem will disappear. The solution to that is to bring a bag to put your garbage in that instead of throwing it on the ground or into the water.
