i think like 3 in the morning
There will be one on the 4th January 2011, paired with the lunar eclipse that occurred on 21st December 2010
Yes it will because it always happens on a lunar eclipse
21 Dec Total Lunar Eclipse Timing in Spain - Madrid :Eclipse starts at 07:33 am on 21st December 2010Total Lunar Eclipse from 08:41 am to 09:53 am Not visibleEclipse Ends at 11:01 am (local time)
It was at 2:00 A.M. in most of the parts in the U.S. last night on December 21st, 2010. It was a rare event in which a lunar eclipse fell on a winter solstice. The last time this happened was over 400 years ago!
When you posted this question, the eclipse was already over. In Melbourne, Australia, it was a partial eclipse; the Moon rose partially eclipsed, and the eclipse ended a few minutes after moonrise.
See the Sources and related links for NASA web page covering past and future eclipses both lunar and solar. In 2013 there will be two penumbral eclipses (hardly noticable)
The next total lunar eclipse will occur on December 21st. The next partial solar eclipse will occur on January 4th. For more information, look at the Related Links below.
2009.... there was one this year.... check youtube write 2009 solar eclipse... it was the longest eclipse of the 21st century
supposedly on the 21st December 2012
It will roughly be on the 21st of December.
Earth I assume you are referring to the lunar eclipse. It was caused when the moon went into the Earth's shadow. The red colour was caused because the only light getting to the moon was all the sunrises and sunsets over the whole Earth.
Yes, it was December 21st 2010, at around 1:30am to 2:41am, eclipses usually last about 1 hour and 14 minutes, it was seen in Canada and hardly seen in the U.S
