You dont need a time to battle darkrai but i prefer night time and use the dusk ball.(Hint: As soon as you throw a dusk ball at it blow in the microphone and keep hitting down and b at the same time reapeatitly). I caught darkrai hes easy igot him on the first easy tries. And to find him use Action Reply (AR) and go to full moon island and then just keep goin right until you hit new moon island then go in and battle him.
