The battery on your motherboard is dying/dead. Also, check the BIOS to see what it is set at ;)
If you shut off your PC only from the skin the CPU will still be on since the screen is only used as a display.
my PC often does this and i have had it for years it just does it for no reason and t hasn't broken on me so i would try and keep it muted when you shut it down
Just shut your computer down for a few minutes and let it cool down, or not run a lot of programs at a time...

Hibernate is designed as a temporary low-power mode. Whilst it wont actually harm your pc to leave it in hibernate mode for long periods, it's still using power - so - from an environmental view-point, it's better to shut down your computer if you're not going to sue it for more than 30 minutes.
