It's called a transit and what you see is a small black circle crossing in front of the Sun as Venus. It takes up to 6 hours to move across. It can be seen by projecting the output from a telescope on to a white card. Never look through the telescope.
Transits of Venus occur in pairs spaced by 8 years. The last pair were in 2004 and 2012. The next ones will be in 2117 and 2125.
A transit occurs at inferior conjunction when Venus overtakes the Earth, passing in front of the Sun. Venus is at inferior conjunction every 584 days, but for a transit to occur Venus also must be at one of its nodes, when it happens to be crossing the ecliptic.
It depends on where you are watching from.

i think its venus
Venus takes 224.7 days to orbit the sun once.
because the amount of time it takes a planet to revolve around the sun is based on its distance from the sun; therefore Saturn and Venus revolve around the sun at a different amount of time because their distance from the sun is different.

If you are referring to the orbit of Venus, it takes approximately 225 Earth days for Venus to cross the sun. 224.70069 days if you want to be exact.

mercury and venus
Mercury is in front of Venus (to the sun) and Earth is right behind.Mercury is formaly next to Venus!! :)
i think its venus
From our point of view, it can be only Mercury or Venus, because only orbits of those planets fit entirely between ours and the Sun. But anything and any planet orbiting the sun can pass in front of the sun depending on the location of the observer.

Venus: has a shorter revolution from the sun, the Venus is further and if revolved around the short period of time..
It takes about 224.7 Earth days for Venus to travel around the Sun. This is also known as Venus' period of revolution.
