well it really depends how old the kids are and if they are in a group or just a few people or with parents. that is a big part of it.
Kids get candy when they go trick or treating.
they have a holloween party or buy their kids candy and dont go trick or treating
Typically, when kids feel that they are too old to go out for trick-or-treating, they come up with other fun things to do. Throwing Halloween parties is common and dances are usually held in certain communities. If kids don't want to do either/or they can also start handing out candy at their house.

it is really popular in America. people, or should i say kids, celebrate it by dressing up as something and got out at night to go trick-or-treating. they collect candy from each house to house or stores. that's why kids like Halloween. --Melissa
Anywhere between 8-15 years of age but it doesn't really matter. If you are having fun and you enjoy eating sweets or teasing your neighbours you can continue trick or treating and dressing up as long as you like.
Trick-or-Treating does not have a set time. Younger kids usually go out after dinner time, around 6 or 7 pm. Then older kids come out around 7 and usually stay out past 10.
The number one rule for someone this age is: GO WITH HER! Do NOT let her get separated from you except for when she visits a house! More safety tips can be found at: http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/safetyfirstaid/a/halloween_safty.htm and several videos are available; one is: http://www.videojug.com/interview/how-to-keep-your-children-safe-during-trick-or-treating and another is: http://video.answers.com/how-to-keep-kids-safe-when-trick-or-treating-213425289 so those should be decent guidelines.
There is no limit to trick-or-treating! Youngs kids and teenagers alike do it all the time. I just went with my friends a year above me, and they seemed to be ok with it. However, sometimes teenagers & preteens go out later than young kids.
Yes. Well actually it depends on where you live. I wouldn't worry about it.
Halloween is popular at least partially because kids enjoy trick or treating to get the candy.
