The charges that are associated with the delivery of a package by FedEx are related to things such as the size of the package, the weight of the package and how quickly one wants the package delivered. When one books the delivery FedEx will come to ones residence to pick up the package and that is included in the price.
If FedEx comes to your residence or business, and they are unable to release the package (for signature required, etc), then they will NOT normally come back for a second time. You CAN, however call 1-800-GO-FEDEX and request that they attempt a Re-Delivery. It will not always work, however if they are still in the general area, then they might come for a second time in the day.
what time of day does fedex deliver in lindenhurst
It absolutely could arrive on time, because the LAST time it was scanned probably was either in transit, or "received at fedex location" meaning it is out for delivery, or (in your 140 mile case) will be out for delivery tomorrow. Between the 140 miles and tomorrow, it is going from the fedex distribution center, to your local fedex delivery office.
Nope.
A package that is going through the Fedex system must stop at various locations along the way to its destination. A Fedex package has a unique number that must be logged at each of these stopping points and once the number is logged, the information of the location of the package is relayed to the customers.
One can track a FedEx package by either visiting a local FedEx office or using their online tracker. You will need to provide one of the following to find your package: a tracking number, a reference number or the Transportation Control Number.
"The FedEx rates vary, depending on distance, size of package, where the package will be sent from, how fast the package needs to be delivered, and several other factors. There is an area on FedEx's website that allows you to input all this information and get an accurate quote."
FedEx tracking works by providing customers with a unique tracking number. The customer can then go to the FedEx site, click on the tracking tab, and enter the unique code. FedEx has that number linked to the package and can provide updates as to the package's location.
The latest delivery time is 7pm - but it is based on your local area schedule. If your package doesn't arrive on-time (10% of them do not) you can request a shipping refund

To track a package that is being sent through FedEx one would need to have the tracking number associated with the shipment. With this number it is possible to go to the fedEx website and enter it in their tracking tool which would list the last known location of the package.
