After you have won the Pokemon league in any Pokemon game, a special area opens; the battle frontier! it doesn't have that name in all Pokemon games but its a special area that only the toughfest are aloud to go. in emerald/ruby/Sapphire you can get a ship from lilycove city. at the battle fronteir, there are a range of buildings, like: the battle factory, battle tower, battle pyramid and more!
