You should first check your blood sugar, then give yourself the appropriate ammount of insulin to lower your blood sugar down into the normal range.

If your blood sugar just isn't going down then you should check for keytones. You can usually find the keytone strips at a pharmacy. If you do find out that you have some keytones then call your endocrinologist, and then just follow his/her instructions.

If your ever in doubt call your endocrinologist's office and they should answer any questions you may have.
