By not having the pan to hot, and properly greased with some butter, your waffles should never stick. It also helps to use a non-stick pan. Best of luck!

Waffle makers should be either brushed with vegetable oil or sprayed with vegetable oil spray (brand name is PAM) while heating before pouring in the batter to keep from sticking.

Unplug the toaster When it is cool enough , use your fingers or a fork or similar utensil to pull it out. Be sure to unplug the toaster before reaching into it.
