First of all you probably should have taken it away earlier my mom let me keep mine till i was 7 bit we made rules i was only allowed to have it anywhere but it wasnt allowed to leave the car i was about 3 when i started going to gymnastics so my mom bauht me a red paci and a green paci those were to stay by the door and before we left my mom woukd give me a paci for the car when i got a red paci that meant that i was allowed to have it in the car and when i was put in my car seat my mom clipped it to my seat soicouldnt take it out of the car red meant im not allowed to have it were we are going when i got a green i was allowed to take it i was very attached to my paci i had an emergancy one in my moms purse for when i lost one or i got hurt so what you can do is the red green paci and put in emergancy one in her bag let her know its for emergancys i understand its a security to her and when she is ready to give it up let her
