The cover is necessary for Bettas. It keeps the air above the water moist and warm so that when the Betta takes in a gulp of air it will not harm the fish.
A large enough amount to cover half of the 10 gallon
you can put a betta in a 54 gallon tank
A betta is best as a solitary fish and it would be better to remove it from your main tank and give it a small tank to itself. You can buy very inexpensive betta tank kits for one betta.
I've had trouble with this, too, you'll wanna have a cover over your Betta tank, or just discourage your cat from being around the tank (take the cat off the table, squirt it with a water bottle when it's there, etc.)
Betta are airbreathers. So long as the ammonia and nitrates are okay, you don't need filters on a Betta tank.
your betta will do just fine in close proximity to the turtle
put it in a tank with another male betta
I asked a person at petsmart and they said never put them in the same tanks bc they get terroitorial and they will fight! So i wouldn't try putting 2 betta fish in the same tank. But you can buy a tank that has a splitter in the middle with a blue cover that's plastic. They still will be in the same tank and won't know it!
betta bowl. it is amazing
Do not put any sharp angular things in the tank and do not put another type of fish in your betta's tank.
No your betta can live in a plastic tank as well. One of my betta fish live in an acrylic tank with silicon sealing the joint pieces.
The eggs will be in the tank and if the dad's in the tank take the mom out.If the dad isn't in the tank take the mom out and put the dad in.
