Its not right to call him a man , he is a coward. You can not do to anything to make it right. Just tell the girl he is dating his truth , so that she do not have to face such situation.

Good men who love their girlfriends stand beside her and try to figure out how to resolve the problem. Your ex boyfriend is immature; selfish and not responsible for his own actions so it is up to you to make him responsible by paying as much child support as he can afford (a percentage can be taken off his wages) but you should see a lawyer to guide you through this. If you are both underage and both live your parents then both sets of parents should get together to decide what support each side of the family can give you.
