Have someone call 911. Look to see if there is something obstructing the child's mouth or throat. Use the Heimlich maneuver to dislodge any obstruction, if that is suspected by the circumstances. If there is an Asthma or allergy history have someone get any medications that you have on hand to be used in those emergencies.
Immediately call 911, or if you can, have someone else call them. If you need help in how to resuscitate, they will guide you through the steps. Try to calmly answer their questions to get the ambulance on its way, and follow their directions. You can trust them and rely on them to tell you exactly what to do. Do not try to drive the child to the hospital, care will be provided faster by the emergency response team, and you and other drivers will be safer on the roads. You will also be needed to follow all the instructions of the 911 operator at that time instead of trying to drive.
Get training in CPR and First Aid before you are faced with this problem. It will be easier for you to stay calm and work with 911 while you are awaiting the arrival of the first responders.
Perform Rescue Breathing:
1. Tilt head, lift chin, pinch the nose shut.
2. Take a breath and make a complete seal over the person's mouth.
3. Blow in to make chest clearly rise.
Each rescue breath should last about 1 second.
Do two minutes (about 40 breaths) of Rescue Breathing, then check for signs of life.

If the patient has a pulse but isn't breathing, commence rescue breathing and monitor the patient's condition for changes. Do not start chest compressions if there's a pulse.
If the infant is not breathing due to a blockage, clear the blockage. Otherwise, immeditaely call the emergency Police number (911 in the US; 999 in the UK), and begin CPR for infants.
First clear the airway. If that doesn't work to restart breathing, start mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
Perform rescue breathing; 1 breath every 3 seconds.
Give rescue breaths without compressions
CPR
How do you monitor a child's pulse
Breathe in; breathe out
A child's pulse rate can vary according to age. For example a child between the ages of 7 and 9 can have a pulse rate of 110 beats per minute, and a child between the ages of 1 to 2 years can have a pulse rate of 130 beats per minute.
The spelling.
A child's pulse rate is higher then an adult as they do more exercise but if a child is resting then it will be lower hoped this helped :)
Femoral
It is ideal to use the apical pulse for monitoring a child's heart rate.
no, of course not! the niqab is beautiful with patterns and decency.
Pulse rate of a 1 year old child is around 120 to 140 beats per minute.
When finding carotid artery, you are looking to check adult or child victim's PULSE
Infants will have the fastest pulse rate.
