Yes. Pugs are prone to pimples, especially when they are puppies; it is called puppy acne and should just dry and disappear. DO NOT try to squeeze or mess with the spots, as they can get infected and cause scarring.
If the acne is very bad you can just clean the spots with some safe disinfectant (human products should work), but in 99.9 percent of cases, it just disappears.
Older dogs can sometimes get spots too; but again, just leave them and they will go away. If you feed your dog with wet food, your dog might be a messy eater. So wipe his face after he eats.
