First of all, no ones hair is "ugly" its just diffrent then the rest. Second of all, I would start by putting a curling moose or cream on wet to damp hair. Then take the diffusing tool to put at the end of your hair dryer and put your hair inside of it on warm heat or cool. Then, after it dries a little bit, stop and put hair spray on and right away, take the tool and do what you did earlier with it. This helps to keep the wave/curl all day. Hope this helps! (It works for my hair and my hair is thick and dead straight.)
