I have had both my monroe and my lip pierced and I much like the monroe better. It can be more discrete with the right jewelry and you do not bump it on as much stuff. However it is all up to the individual.
In my opinion, I would get your lip done first and then go for the other one because you can then decide whether you want to keep it, and if you do want to keep it theres your answer and on your lip you can easily take it out if you dont like it and people wont really realise that you've had it done.
