If there are two or more in the same cage, one of the other birds is pulling them out.
Do you have another bird in the cage with him/her? If so then maybe the other bird is harming him/her, so take the other bird out and see how the injured bird is doing. But if you don't, since your parents won't take he/she to the vet, just give your bird some time, and he/she will heal on his/her own. But also, are the feathers just coming off of that eye, or around the other to? Maybe he/she is just losing feathers. -Alesandra-
If you give your parakeet less than 12 hours a day they will not ley eggs
Penguins are covered in feathers, not fur. Penguins molt once each year. During this time, the birds lose all of their feathers.
parakeets need partners or they get very lonely when your out of the room, shool, work, ect.
My cockatiel has never caught an upper respiratory virus that my husband of I have had.
I'm not sure, but if you want to give your parakeet a bath, you can-- 1. Fill a small bowl up with warm water. 2. Put a rag down on the bottom of the bowl so your parakeet won't slip. 3. Put your parakeet down in the bowl and it will take a bath by itself! I hope I helped!
a rattle snake can produce feathers
Well, you should give them two separate food and water dishes. If that does not work, you may need to separate the birds at feeding time.
If you go to the vets they should be able to give you an age of the bird.
yes if it is not good for it or not nutritious
No, Turkeys have feathers.
Give it a bath (no chemicals like shampoo or conditioner, just regular water)or give it to the vet to get cleaned.
