I used to look at the "competition." Then, I'd look at the best guys and try to make my description/conversation respond to what I liked in theirs. Edit and save your description. Then, run a search. Do the great guys show up? If not, rewrite. Finally, be sure that you are truthful about yourself since it goes a long way. Online daters often don't recognize the people they meet because of the "lies."
