Don't reply!
JB says he tries to respond to twitter posts by his fans but he has very little spare time these days and can respond only to a few people.
This is an abbreviation for the French 'repondez s'il vous plait' which means 'respond if you please'. In other words you should reply to the invitation. Usually it is for the purpose of determining whether you will be attending a particular event or not. Often a date is given by which time you should reply. You should respond in either case, unless it specifically says to reply only if attending. It may also state by what means you should reply.
UNLESS YOU ARE MISTAKEN IN SOMETHING: You can't respond due to their leaving although you may have a reply or even a good reply. So, it's their problem not yours because as they leave then they either don't want to hear your reply or just leave as a quick unintentional reaction. Don't hasten, & don't prejudge things &/or others. Remember that you can respond when seeing them later if it's necessary to do so.
If she agreed to go on a date with you, then she probaley likes you. Even if she dosnt respond to your texts. Maybe she lost or phone or her battery died... She might be really nervous to talk to you. Their is many reasonable answers.
We should also reply how do you do as a responce.
