As an interviewer I understand if candidates say "they wished to develop themselves in a different area or field" or "career opportunities at my previous employment were limited" or it may be as simple as "the hours of work did not suit my home life" or "the travel time involved was impacting on my home life".
When leaving a job for child-rearing responsibilities, you might say, "I am resigning to focus on my family and raise my children." It's important to express gratitude for the opportunities provided and to offer to help with the transition. This approach maintains professionalism while clearly communicating your reasons for leaving.
