I would recommend that you go to cooking school or a college with degrees in cooking. There is Le Cordon Bleu and the C.I.A. (Culinary Institute of America), to name a few. These schools offer programs in Cuisine and Bakery and Pastry Arts. Depends on which school you go to but these certificate programs usually take any where from 6 months to four years. These schools can be pretty expensive, so another suggestion if to cook your way through some cook books and maybe take a few classes at your local community center.
