What you wear when you dance really depends on the dance.

Ballet: White or ballet pink tights with a black body suit and ballet shoes.

Jazz: Black body suit (any style) with black jazz pants and beige or black jazz shoes.

Hip-Hop: Street clothes (t-shirt and shorts or sweats, etc) with hip-hop shoes or runners.

Tap: Any style body suit with black jazz pants and leather tap shoes (Capezio is a good brand)

Lyrical & Modern: Black body suit with beige tights and black booty shorts (barefoot).
