If it's the base Sedan Deville with the 4.9 liter, it's 5 quarts with the filter. For the Deville Concours with the Northstar, it's 7.5 quarts with the filter.
If you needed a gasket and they replaced it then yes you would be charged for the gasket.
Locate the sensor on the exhaust system unplug it ,unscrew it and replace it in reverse. Pretty simple. Autozone will lend you a special socket needed to go around the wires if needed

Best to just take the assembly out and look. Just one torx screw holding the assembly in. Takes less than 30 seconds to take it out. Then you know exactly what you need. Some times the gasket is sticks, I use a long screw that I put in the screw hole to grab the assembly and pull
Yes, I went 20's and now 22's. no alterations needed. its gonna automaticcly adjust because of you air suspension system
it is not a power hood release, so it will operate with a dead battery, then it has a safety release behind the grille. no power needed. goodluck
