Metalloids
In the periodic table metals are on the left of the line. But elements touching it are called semi metals and have properties of both metals and nonmetals
Non metals have properties opposite those of the metals . The metalloids, or semimetals, have properties that are somewhat of a cross between metals and nonmetals.
