Say if the president DID die... the person that would become president next would be the vice-president. That's why they have those... to become the president if the original president would die.... If the vice president and the main president both died... I don't know what would happen... I think they'd reallect!

No person who is not elligible to be President can become Vice-President. No person may be elected more than twice to the office of President. There is disagreement as to whether this prevents a former President from serving as a Vice-President, since he would not have been elected to the office of President should he succeed to that office due to the death or disability of the President. But he clearly would be prevented from running for election after filling out the remainder of the term of a President who died in office.

Before the white house any U.S. president was just another person. Once they have become President, they're still allowed to invest in the stockmarket as any other person would.
This is because the main role of the vice-president is to be able to take over as President if necessary. A person not qualified to be President would not be able to become president and so could not fill this role.

The president of the United States would remain president until he died or resigned or was impeached; at which time the Vice President would become president.
